At RussianMix.com (owned by Russian Mix, Inc. and based in New York), we brew our own version of culture & entertainment for young sophisticated Russian New Yorkers. Through editorial reviews and special features, we filter out the most noteworthy cultural happenings in art, movies, books, entertainment and lifestyle that reflect our audience’s interests and preferences. We also host and promote parties and special events at the trendiest Manhattan nightspots. This is our contribution in keeping our young diversified community connected and intellectually stimulated. Russian Mix was started in 2002 with a series of super popular Russian dance parties & concerts organized at Manhattan clubs and bars that gathered hundreds of young Russians who appreciated a New York City (Manhattan) night scene and got together to socialize, dance, listen to great music. Since 2002, we organized more than 100 such parties and events.
In April 2003, RussianMix.com was launched and the newsletter quickly grew to 4,000+ subscribers. In November 2005, the website underwent major redesign and re-structuring adding new cultural components to the mix in response to a growing need for an online source of cultural stimuli for young progressive Russian community.
The editorial team at RussianMix.com selects top events on a weekly basis, writes reviews on popular exhibitions, movies and books, collects all noteworthy events related to cultural & entertainment happenings in New York City (NYC) and promotes concerts, parties and festivals at popular city nightspots. |

Artnomad
Artnomad is the one of those people who does not have talent to create, but can really appreciate somebody else's art creations and therefore becomes art critic. She is interested in any forms of art, but visual art is her passion. She is also on Board of Directors for nonprofit Dance Theatre company - Notes in Motion (notesinmotion.org), because she believes that ART is as important as fighting deceases and world poverty and should be supported as well.
