Boston is a unique city with close to 100,000 Russian speakers living and working in the Greater Boston Area. They came from different countries of the former Soviet Union, but share common traditions, language, and values. Russian speaking community of Boston has a very active social life, including parties, events, online radio, concerts, restaurant gatherings, and a lot more. There is something to do for all ages, backgrounds, and interests. A variety of businesses catering to the Russian speakers including hospitals, pharmacies, insurance agencies, body shops, etc. A lot of them have Russian-speaking representatives thus allowing to preserve the ethnicity.
