Description
The music for the production is from Masada songbook, the most popular and adventurous musical project brought to life by composer John Zorn. The nature of Masada greatly reflects our vision of the play - an attempt to forge a new form and content of Jewish culture, the one consciously rooted in the past and with an eye to the future.
“Enemies, A Love Story” is an unusual sight –impulsiveness of jazz and monotonous cantor’s singing, ocean breeze and stuffy air of New York subway, black humor, passionate love, mysticism, infidelity, loyalty, broken lives… The war is over – human tragedy goes on…
The Cast: Tyree Giroux*, Susan Neuffer, Martina Potratz, Roman Freud, Cristina Morrison, Ana Grosse.
