Description
Irina Davis creates her own genre of pin-up art by photographing Russian women in traditional all-American pin-up poses. Seductive and playful, these works tell the story of a whole generation of women in today’s Russia.
Irina grew up in Khabarovsk in the Russian Far East and received her Master’s degree in Studio Art from New York University. Irina currently lives and works in Moscow, Russia. Nice Girls is Irina’s second solo exhibition at Sputnik Gallery.
