SUMMARY:Windy City Winds - Fall Concert - Potpourri
DESCRIPTION:Christmas Music by Alfred Reed, and Profanation, the middle movement from Leonard Bernstein’s “Jeremiah” Symphony.  Concluding their year-long celebration of Bernstein’s 100th birthday, the band will also perform the finale from his musical Candide, Make Our Garden Grow.  
Co-conductors Mark Mosley and Sarah Good Mosley are both graduates of the University of Illinois School of Music, Mark and Sarah founded the band in 2015.  Windy City Winds is a 60-piece symphonic band.  Its members are a diverse group of talented volunteer musicians ages 21 to 91 who come from neighborhoods across Chicago to rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings at St. Pauls Church.
