From Mizrahi Jews to Palestinian citizens of Israel, Ethiopian-Israelis and Russian-speaking immigrants, women and LGBTQ people, minority communities have fought for inclusion, equality, and social change. 
Join us for a conversation about diversity, access to equal rights, and democratic values in Israel today with Shira Ben-Sasson Furstenberg.  Shira was director of the Masorti Movementís Jewish Pluralism Watch and the Jewish Federations of North Americaís Religious Expression Platform.  She is currently Associate Director of the New Israel Fund in Israel and lives in Jerusalem with her family.
