Malibu Toastmasters Club proudly present: "SAVING MALIBU", a vounteer-based program and  has encouraged members to conduct a High Performance Leadership Project to help victims of the recent Woolsey Fires with:
1. Food & Clothing Drive
2. List of Housing Options 
3.  Opportunities to volunteer and make a differnece including Malibu Community Relief
Our weekly meeting will be temporarily taking place in Beverly Hills until the Malibu Mandatory Evacuation is lifted. The address will be given to you upon confirmation of your attendance.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Mathematician Jose Angel Manaiza, Jr. was born & raised in La Ceiba, Entertainment Capital of Honduras. Former Child's Star in his hometown La Ceiba and champion winning Math Contest representing public school Hector Pineda Uguarte in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He also known as “The Tutor for The Stars” from Malibu to Beverly Hills. He works for Malibu & Beverly Hills Education, dedicated to helping students achieve straight As. In 2012, Mr. Manaiza won The Third Annual Bruin Contest at UCLA with his compelling speech entitled “The New Future Of The United States Of America.” In 2014, he ranked # 1 in earning the most education awards in Toastmasters International. Mathematician Jose Angel Manaiza Jr., provides the children of Hollywood celebrities and LA's most influential families from Malibu to Beverly Hills with academic help. Mr. Manaiza has helped over 1,200 students, including NCAA student-athletes from schools such as UCLA, to excel intellectually through teaching a speed-reading system also endorsed by three American presidents. He has been honored in The White House and recipient of The Best of Los Angeles Award as THE BEST SPEED READING TUTOR.
His public service initiatives such as 1-Hour Effective Speed Reading Seminars have been well-received through Los Angeles Public Library System, County Of Los Angeles Public Library, community learning centers, and private companies. His proven systrem to get straight A's & get top standardized scores has been highly praised by mainstream media and he is among the first to publish an article on The New SAT in The Huffington Post. He has prepared students to go all 8 Ivy League schools including Harvard University & Yale and top colleges such UCLA, Pepperdine University, Stanford University, Georgetown, USC from both public & private high schools including Malibu High School, The Buckley School, Brentwood School, Westlake -Harvard.School, Immaculate Heart High School, Marlborough School, Beverly Hills High School, Viewpoint School, Oaks Christian School, Loyola High School, Calabasas High School, The Archer School for Girls, Milken Community Schools, Crossroads School and more. Organizations he has supported include Boys & Girls Clubs of Malibu, Advocates for Malibu Public Schools (AMPS), Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program. He is The President of award-winning Malibu Toastmasters Club. He proudly have served as The Speakers Program Director for The California Women’s Conference, the world’s largest conference for women with past keynote speakers such Oprah, Laura Bush, and Arianna Huffington. He is the Spanish translator for the book"The Process To Become A Professional Speaker" by Norma T. Hollis.
In 2018, Mr. Manaiza was knighted Knight Jose Angel Manaiza, Jr. for his humanitarian work and contributions to education by the Knights of the Orthodox Order of St. John Russian Grand Priory, a thousand year organization known for their work founding hospitals. Humanitarian leaders who have received this knighthood include Dr. Michael Beckwith, Cynthia Kersey, Blaine Bartlet, Michelle Patterson, Lisa Nichols, Don Miguel Ruiz, Mabel Katz, Jack Canfield, DC Cordova, Nicole Brandon, Marie Diamond, and Freddie Ravel.
