Justice), and Duke University (B.A. Political Science) He has offices in Corals Gables, Fla., and Washington, D.C., and is a member of the bars of both jurisdictions. He is fluent in Spanish.

Evgenia Sorokina works with James in the Washington, D.C. office on immigration and law, and also counsels businesses worldwide in various industries regarding corporate acquisitions, financings, commercial transactions, and regulatory matters.
Evgenia holds degrees from the American University Washington College of Law (LL.M) and Kutafin Moscow State Law University (J.D. equivalent). She is a former member of the Russian Foreign Service, where she was posted in Central America and Spain. She has worked at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in Moscow, and BakerHostetler, in Washington DC. She is a member of the D.C. and N.Y. Bars and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
