This workshop is appropriate for participants at all levels.
 
The workshop will be taught by Viktoria who learned authentic Russian Romani dance from a retired dancer from the first professional Romani (Gypsy) theater in the world in Moscow. Viktoria practices various forms of dance – Russka Roma (Russian Gypsy) belly dance, Kalbelia, Spanish Gypsy, tango and continues to explore the fantastic world of dance. She has performed and taught throughout the US and in her native Russia. She is currently based in Naperville, IL, and is the creator and artistic director of the FireBird Gypsy Dance troupe.
 
What you need for the workshop: a skirt, preferably 25 yards or more; a piece of music you are currently exploring. If you don’t have a skirt, please contact the instructor and she will loan you a skirt for the workshop.

Cost is $35 with pre-registration; $40 at the door.
