DESCRIPTION:(approx 6mi). This trail has great views of Shawangunks Ridge. Trails are unpaved but in good condition, any bike with wide tires can ride these trails. Hybrid or Gravel bikes are the best. Mountain bike is fine too. But ride on a road bike would not be comfortable. New Paltz has Free Municipal Parking Lot, and there are other parking options available. Having kids on this ride, we won't go fast. Since these trails are over 30 miles they are good for any fitness level.
