SUMMARY:Live Music Party with Zakuska
DESCRIPTION:  Zakuska means "tasty treats," and that is what this six-member ensemble serves up.   Zakuska plays a wide variety of music for both well known and more esoteric dances - mostly Balkan (Albanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Macedonian, Romanian, Serbian, and Turkish) and other ethnic folk dance music. Some of the dances have been taught by Jana Rickel during her class sessions for SBD.

Jana Rickel - vocals, Bulgarian and Macedonian tamburas, fiddle, bass & percussion
Jan Tominaga - vocals, gadulka & clarinet
Kathy Sandstrom - vocals & percussion
Krista Canterbury - vocals, bugaria & percussion
Sue Niemann - vocals, accordion & percussion
Fred Graves - vocals, kavals, flute, whistles, saxes & percussion.
Bring party food to share.  Suggested donation is $15.for adults, $8 for students, and free for kids 13 & under.
