 Sonoma County's Gems
Sonoma County is celebrated for its diversity and ability to excel across a range of grapes. While many varietals are successful, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel are time-honored signatures of Sonoma County. In this session, you will explore the diversity of three signature varietals. We will focus on different styles sourced from AVA’s including Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Petaluma Gap, Rockpile, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Mountain, and West Sonoma Coast.  
 
 Sustainability in Your Glass
Hosted by Sonoma County Winegrowers (SCW) President Karissa Kruse and featuring several multi-generational grape growing families, you will learn about Sonoma County’s commitment to become America’s first 100% sustainable wine region.  Hear from the panelists about their sustainable farming practices and the steps it takes to become a certified sustainable vineyard and winery, and most importantly, how it improves wine quality in the glass. 
 
Master Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Our Pinot-centric seminar will highlight three areas of Sonoma County: Petaluma Gap, Russian River Valley and West Sonoma Coast, with a trio of wines from each region. The Wine Advocate’s Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW noted in the April 2017 issue that Pinot Noir in Sonoma County comes from “extraordinary vineyards and clonal material which means that the potential for Pinot Noir in Sonoma doesn’t get any better.” We could not agree more! Taste of Sonoma: On Tour from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

This grand tasting will provide insight into a hand-selected collection of Sonoma County's top vineyard sites and illustrious wineries, featuring over 150 wines from 17 distinctive regions. Taste the diversity of terroir and winemaking styles. Enjoy the opportunity to interact with Sonoma County's winemakers and winegrowers during a walkabout lunch and grand tasting.
