DESCRIPTION:Math Circle
Students get a great introduction to algebra and advanced math concepts in our Math Circles, which are based on the Eastern European or “Russian Math” model.
Field Trip
The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, the publisher of our math curriculum, is a key sponsor of this year's National Math Festival at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on April 22.  That would normally be a day off for the program because of DCPS' Spring Break, but we are going to take the opportunity and host an optional field trip to the festival on that day.  We will provide more details on this trip as the date approaches.
