SUMMARY:Hike Angel Island
DESCRIPTION:Also known as the “Ellis Island of the West,” Angel Island’s Immigration Station was the first stop for millions of Pacific Basin, Asian and Russian immigrants entering the United States. We will be taking the earliest ferry from Pier 41 at 9:50am and arrive at Angel Island by 10:15am. Our hike will take 2-3 hours and takes us around the perimeter of the Island. It is an easy six mile paved hike with an elevation gain of 547 feet. Afterwards we will grab a bite to eat at the local favorite, Angels Island Cafe, and head back on the ferry to the mainland. Please bring $18 for a round trip ferry ticket.
