Please join us for a follow up session on the ICF Credential application process.  Part 2: Applying for your ICF Credential. Learn more tips, tools, and resources to help you navigate through every step of the credentialing process.  
Coach training? Done. Coaching hours logged? Done, And now you’re ready to apply. The process can be overwhelming. We’ve been there! You go to the website, and wonder where to begin – ACTP, ACSTH, Portfolio?
Join us for a second look at the process with a clear explanation of YOUR credential path and process navigation help. We’ll cover the coach knowledge assessment, mentor coaching, transcripts, documenting your coaching school curriculum, the website, application, and for those who want a partner in the process, we'll try to match you with others who are going through the same path – a credential buddy! 
Join Yana Blackwelder, PCC; Margaret McLean Walsh, PCC to learn all you need to know about the ICF credentialing process. Bring your questions, your ACTP, ACSTH, or Portfolio application, and anything else that will help you move to the next step in the process. During our conversation, we will:
1) Do a coach demo and use the PCC Markers to review how the coach demonstrated the core comptetncies.
2) Review the credentialing handbook;
3) Answer more questions you might have since the last session, and; 4) Break into groups for 30 minutes of Mentor Coaching on your application.

Presenters:
Yana Blackwelder has been specializing in the field of leadership development since 2003. In 2010, she founded Executive Gravitas – New York based boutique-consulting firm that supports her global client network. For the past 5 years, she has been working as a Program Director for the “Coaching for Managers” and “Internal Certified Coach” Programs for Coca Cola Hellenic Eurasia. She has trained and coached over 500 top managers in Russia and Europe. Yana is also an executive coach for INSEAD International Global Leadership Centre. Her list of clients includes such organizations as Johnson& Johnson, Armstrong, AstraZeneca, Boeing, Women for Women International, Nokia, TNK-BP, Teach First UK and others.  In July of 2015, she joined Board of Directors of the New York ICF Chapter as a Director of Strategic Partnerships. 
Mrs. Blackwelder’s specialty is to teach executives how to use coaching to manage and engage their teams as well as to promote their careers. She is an expert in international cross-cultural integration for leaders and work teams. She was invited as a leadership speaker and worked with executives across the globe in London, New York, Hong Kong, Prague and Moscow. During the spring of 2016, Mrs. Blackwelder is a guest lecturer in NYU and will be covering topics of international management and cross-cultural coaching with her students.  She works with her clients in English and Russian. Yana’s new project is being a host and an author of the TV program “PRO Coaching: Leaders. Motivation. Results”. The program started in January of 2016 on the cable channel “PRO BUSINESS TV”, Moscow, Russia and is dedicated to the art and science of coaching in organizations 
Yana’s holistic yet commercially sound approach to leadership development is based on the application of psychology and intercultural communication principles to the demanding environment of global business. It has been highly effective at all organizational levels from operational staff to senior executives of Fortune 500 companies. Her work style is highly personable and engaging. Clients have characterized Yana as a “thought partner who uses rigor to make things happen”. Mrs. Blackwelder holds Bachelor in Business from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and Мaster in Arts in Organizational Psychology, Columbia University, New York, USA.  She received her coach education in London and is a certified by Coaching Development - London, UK. 
Margaret McLean Walsh is an executive and career coach who is passionate about partnering with individuals and organizations to realize their goals. Her positive psychology approach works to uncover strengths and build on them. Clients value how her direct approach and sense of humor broaden their perspectives.  Her clients are from entrepreneurial start-ups to global institutions such as JPMorgan, ADP, Coca-Cola, MEC, GroupM, Xerox and 1010data.
Margaret encourages a continuous learning culture and is known for creating an inspiring sense of purpose and possibility.  Organizations in transition are her sweet spot.  As an HR leader, she worked with companies including JPMorganChase, FRBNY, DTCC and as Chief HR Officer for Omgeo LLC. 
As a member of Columbia’s Executive Coaching Program faculty, she continuously hones her coaching expertise.  She is a Columbia program graduate, earned an ICF Professional Certified Coach credential, is a certified career coach, and holds assessment certifications in EQ-2.0 Emotional Intelligence, Team EQ, EQ360, The Birkman Method®, The Hogan, and NBI® thinking preferences suite. Margaret earned her MA and BS degrees from Iona College, CUNY Brooklyn College; and completed MBA coursework and professional certifications at NYU.  She serves on ICF NYC’s Board as president.
