The Wine:

The JCB Tasting Lounge, composed by legendary winemaker Jean-Charles Boisset, offers exclusive wine tasting flights including some of the most decadent and rare numbered wines. The Boisset Collection unites the old and new worlds of wine with its Franco-American spirit and wineries on two continents. It is one of the world's leading family-owned luxury fine wine companies.

The exclusive lounge:
The JCB Tasting Lounge is located at The Ritz-Carlton, in the lobby of the city landmark hotel in San Francisco. The space has been described as an "over the top" and "opulent French parlor," due to the decor, which includes purple velvet couches, gold fringe stools, and leopard print carpet.

About Jean-Charles Boisset:
Jean-Charles Boisset (also known as JCB) is a French vintner and the proprietor of the Boisset Collection. Under Boisset's leadership, the Boisset Collection operates 24 wineries in California, France, and Canada.
Boisset hails from a family that is now the third leading winemaker in France. His parents, Jean-Claude and Claudine, founded the family winery in 1961. It’s no wonder Boisset maintains that he was born “with wine in his blood.”
Boisset moved to California in the early nineties and purchased his first winery, Lyeth Estates, and in 1999 he co-founded Domaine de la Vougeraie with his sister, Nathalie.
In 2003, Boisset purchased DeLoach Vineyards in California's Russian River Valley AVA, followed by Raymond Vineyards, located in Napa Valley, California, in 2009 and Buena Vista Winery, located in Sonoma, California, in 2011.

Wine and More:
“My idea was to create a jewelry box in the city where people want to come and have a good time,” Boisset said.
Part tasting lounge, part boutique—because shopping + wine = good decision-making! Yes, you can buy his trademark red socks as well as luxe products from partners such as Baccarat, Christofle, Lalique and Goyard and a new line of jewelry designed by the man himself.
