For the eighth consecutive year, The Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations calls on all black people and freedom-loving people from throughout the U.S. to gather in Washington, D.C. to lay out our organized response to the war being waged against the peoples of the world and African people within the U.S.

A CALL          
 The Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations will be conducting a rally, march on the White House and national conference on November 4th and 5th, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
 For the eighth consecutive year our Coalition is calling on all black people and freedom-loving people from throughout the U.S. to gather in Washington, D.C. to lay out our organized response to the war being waged against the peoples of the world and African people within the U.S.
 The action will kick off at 12:00 noon with a rally on Saturday, November 4th at Malcolm X Park featuring speakers and culture prior to the march on the White House at 2:30pm.   We will rally again when the march reaches  Lafayette Park across the street from the White House.
 On Sunday our conference will convene at Blackburn Center,  Howard University at  12:00 noon when pressing issues of our times will be discussed and an agenda put forward to show the way to peace and black self-determination.
 The Black is Back Coalition action signals a new peace movement  that is clear that there can be no peace without social justice. It’s a movement that fights for the destruction of the entire rotten system of capitalist-imperialism that came into being with the enslavement of Africans and the colonization of most of the world, including the indigenous peoples of the Americas and the theft of half of Mexico by the U.S.
 Our rally, march and conference will loudly express our opposition to the ongoing police murder of African people and the inability of a colonialist justice system to punish the domestic military occupation police that serve as a force to contain our oppressed people.
 We will continue to raise our demand for black community control of the police as the only democratic, just reform that promises a road to black self-determination, so desperately needed by our people.
 We demand economic development for our communities, an end to the slander and oppression of African women and children and reparations for our exploited labor and every other offense committed against our people.
 We want the prison concentration camps emptied of black people. The U.S. government has no legitimacy to judge, kill and imprison our people when it cannot answer the simple demands for food, clothing, shelter, reparations and social justice.
 Our rally, march and conference will declare our solidarity with all the peoples and countries being attacked and/or threatened by U.S. and imperialist white power globally.
 We will not stand or fight for white power in any war against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. We oppose the ongoing attacks against the Iranian government and people who courageously freed themselves from the despotic rule of the shah imposed on them by the U.S. government in the 1950s.
 We declare that our war is not with the Russians or the Chinese, but with a social system that has historically oppressed and exploited black people and made predatory war against peace loving peoples worldwide.
 Our war is with the marauding gun-toting thugs combing our communities like the slave catchers of the past. It is with the judicial system that sanctions the murder of our men, women and children and thrusts millions of us into the modern slave dungeons known as prisons.
 Our war is with a system that is not satisfied with having created an economy from our stolen labor. It is with a system that maintains an economic quarantine of our colonized people and ruthlessly bleeds any surviving resources through imposition of a drug economy that wreaks havoc and violence and justifies permanent war, especially against our youth.
 The Trump administration’s threat of nuclear annihilation of the Korean people is glaring testimony of the brutal nature of the capitalist social system and its desperation during this period of imperialist crisis.
 It is not strength that drives the U.S. during this period. Nor is it simply Donald Trump. Trump is a symptom of a system in serious crisis that is incapable of ruling in the same old way.
 Our people and the peoples of the world have had to endure U.S. imperialism since the inception of this government on stolen land that has benefited from stolen labor of our people and the peoples of the world.
Trump’s election and opposition to it by sectors of U.S. white rulers have helped to expose the crisis of white power and undermine the electoral process in the U.S. as well.
The ongoing attack on Trump by white ruling class media that challenges the legitimacy of his presidency with claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin manipulated the election outcome to guarantee Trump’s victory is the primary method being used by white rulers to cripple his presidency. 
All of this helps to expose  the fact that the electoral system was contrived by the white ruling class as a process for generally non-violent struggle among the rulers for control of the U.S. State for their profit-making benefit.
Trump’s promise to put more U.S. occupation troops in Afghanistan along with his threats to initiate economic sanctions against Iran and return to a hostile posture against Cuba undermine the credibility of the U.S. throughout the world as a reliable treaty or diplomatic signatory.
The U.S. has no regard for agreements or elections if they do not favor the white ruling class and support the colonialist capitalist status quo.
Nevertheless the Black is Back Coalition continues to move forward during this period of imperialist crisis and decline of white power. 
We are utilizing the electoral process to mobilize Africans and others with a revolutionary platform that demands reparations and black self-determination.
We are promoting referendums and ballot initiatives for reparations and black community control of the police at a time when great dissatisfaction is being demonstrated by the millions of people in the U.S. 
Many people recognize the electoral process as the only legitimate method of challenging the status quo for political power in the U.S. and have been immobilized politically by the absence of candidates or platforms that address the critical issues of our people in these times.
The Black is Back Coalition recognizes the electoral process as only one form of struggle in our determination to be free. It is a process that allows us to promote a National Black Political Agenda for Self-determination that educates our people, exposes the contradictions of the system and moves us closer to the inevitable day that our struggle will utilize every form of struggle, to that day when the people will employ both, the ballot and the bullet!
Victory to the oppressed peoples of the world!
