An intimate work for bass, soprano and chamber orchestra, Shostakovich delivers a fresh an poignant symphony. The piece features Metropolitan Opera bass Mikhail Svetlov and soprano Therese Panicali for one intimate afternoon performance--not to be missed!BMCO will also play Austrian composer Franz Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 49, better known as The Passion. Haydn's simple yet thrilling music is filled with longing and fire. Haydn captures the many shades of love in the classical style which still resonates today.To conclude the concert, Giussy Luana Lombardi will bring her shimmering soprano voice to a Mozart surprise.
