DESCRIPTION:season since his debut to perform in such prestigious venues as the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. (three times with the National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Mstislav Rostropovich, a solo appearance at Carnegie Hall in New York, and in 35 other American cities.  Dmitri Ratser is one of only three internationally famous pianists – the other two being Andre Watts and Ivo Poglorevich – who were invited to perform - in consecutive seasons - in the prestigious recital series held at the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, California, known in its “hey-day” as the “Carnegie Hall of the West”.  He has been recognized as one of the few pianists to include in his regularly performed repertoire the complete works for piano and orchestra of Sergei Rachmaninoff.
On March 10, 2018, at Steniway Hall-Plano, Mr. Ratser will be performing by Polish, Amerianc, and Russian composers.
