H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili was elected as the President of Georgia on October 27, 2013. Active in politics since the early 2000s, he previously served as Vice Premier and the Minister of Education and Science.

Admission is free and by invitation only. Invitations are non-transferable.
Photo ID will be required for entry.
No large bags or backpacks will be allowed into the event.
Attendee registration will take place in the lobby directly outside of Copley Formal Lounge.

Directions to Copley Formal Lounge Library:
From the main gates of the University at 37th and O Streets NW: Walk up the driveway past the statue of John Carroll and turn right. Copley Hall is the grey stone building on the left, and the entrance to Copley Formal Lounge is on the far end of the building facing Red Square.
From the parking garages in Southwest Quad: Take the elevator to the ground floor and exit the building. Turn right and walk to the end of the path. Turn left and walk across the street and up the hill on Library Walk. At the end of the road turn left. Healy Hall is the first stone building on your left and the second grey stone building is Copley Hall. The entrance to Copley Formal Lounge is on the far end of the building facing Red Square.
