About the Speaker: Ethan S. Burger is an attorney and academic with a background in financial crime, cyber issues, and Russian matters.  After practicing law in the area of Russian trade and investment, he has been on the faculty of American University's School of International Service (Transnational Crime and Corruption Center) and University of Wollongong's Faculty of Law (Centre of Transnational Crime Prevention),  He is published widely on legal and national security issues, and given presentations: American Bar Association's International Law Section , Australian Institute of Criminology, The Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies, the Helsinki Commission, Univerisity of Toronto's Centre for Criminology, University of Toronto, the International Bar Association, Harvard University's Davis Center, Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and elsewhere.  He will be leading a seminar at the Institute concerning The International Law Applicable to Russian-U.S. Interactions in Cyberspace.
