The child of emotionally blocked Russian immigrants, Roman has transformed thousands of hours of grueling skate practice plus a useless psych degree into a penetrating master takedown of modern life, with a mind-warping fusion of pop culture insight and outrageous physical comedy.  Using live music, elaborate stagecraft, and incredibly personal stand-up, Roman delivers a powerful evening of laughs and self-discovery.

After extensive touring throughout the United States, Roman will be taking “Back in the Closet” to Edinburgh Fringe, delivering his uniquely psychedelic comedy in a 28 night run at Gilded Balloon. He is a regular performer at classic Los Angeles venues like The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Hollywood Improv, and has trained and performed with Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theater. His other interests include judging cats.
