Originar din Republica Moldova, Pavel Stratan a devenit cunoscut în România odată cu trupa Planeta Moldova având instantaneu un impact fantastic asupra publicului, datorită în primul rând vocabularului specific moldovenesc și neobișnuit pentru români dar și jocurilor de cuvinte inovative și inedite. Fiecare piesă spune o poveste plină de umor și de tâlc, o poveste reală din biografia cântautorului, lucru întrutotul inedit în peisajul muzical. Muzica lui se mai remarcă și prin crâmpeie de folk cu motive tradiționale dar și cu pop, hip-hop etc. Albumul său de debut Amintiri din copilăries-a vândut “ca pâinea caldă” în prima zi de lansare la București cu peste 7.000 de discuri. La scurt timp, Pavel Stratan a reușit să dețină întâietatea în topul vânzărilor cu peste 50 mii de exemsplare vândute. Acest prim album a fost urmat de încă trei cu acelați nume și după o pauză de 6 ani, iată că acum el revine în 2018 cu noul album Totu-i despre viață.

Pavel Stratan is coming to Dallas for a new concert  featuring songs from his recently released album It's all about life (Totu-i despre viață) but also many of the songs which made him famous in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The event will take place Saturday May 19 th at Russian Banya , 2515 E Rosemeade Pkwy # 401 Carrollton TX 75007 
Originally from the Republic of Moldova, Pavel Strfatan became known in Romania with the band Planet Moldova. His instant impact on the public was mainly due to his specific Moldovan accent and vocabulary which most Romanian listeners found unusual and to his creative and original word play. Listening to his songs one can hear folk and traditional music, pop, hip-hop, and other styles. Each song tells a story full of humor and allegory, a true story inspired from the songwriter’s own biography, something entirely unique in the musical landscape. His debut album Childhood Memories (Amintiri din copilărie) sold over 7,000 copies on the day of release in Bucharest. Shortly thereafter, Pavel Stratan’s albums were best sellers with over 50,000 copies sold. This first album was followed by three more with the same name, and now, after a six year break he is back in 2018 with his latest album It's all about life (Totu-i despre viață).
