DESCRIPTION: The show will be in the CADE Gallery from March 9 to April 9. Please join us for an opening reception on March 12 from 6:00-8:00pm. The artist talk will be on March 11 at 11:00am.

Rebranding Russian Avant-Garde exhibition will present a new generation of contemporary artists and designers who are attempting to re-imagine this innovative movement in the age of digital media, marketing collateral, and web design. Using the Russian Avant-Garde movement as their main source of inspiration, these artists will re-contextualize familiar themes, while exploring new technologies and striving to form their own unique visual language.
 
The exhibit will feature selected works from recent international poster actions, among which are Rodchenko 120 and Mayakovsky 120 poster campaigns curated by Sergey Serov (Russia) and The Design Sphere poster exhibit curated by Vladimir Lesnyak (Ukraine). In addition, the exhibit will present a selection of work from aspiring community college art and design students. We hope that you can join us in celebrating the achievements of the greatest writers, scientists and artists of the Russian Avant-Garde.
