DESCRIPTION:the hands of people with disabilities and letting them tell their own stories. Russian and American filmmakers made films about everyday issues, accessibility, finding love, confronting prejudice and following dreams.This film documents the cinematic adventures of the filmmakers. The participants use their cameras to empower themselves, educate the public, provide more opportunities for people with disabilities, and help people from the U.S. and Russia work together in the spirit of friendship and peace.
August 10th: Q&A with filmmakers Jon Alpert, Jon Novick and Ben Rosloff, and Commissioner Victor Calise (the NYC Office for People With Disabilities).
