About Demet Sabancı Çetindoğan
Demet Sabancı Çetindoğan is a serial entrepreneur. She is the  founder of DEMSA, a textile retail company, MEDİASA, a media conglomerate, ONKIM, the first cord blood cell bank of Turkey and DENSA Sea Transportation, an international maritime transportation firm. She is the recipient of many awards from institutions such as Mimar Sinan University, UNICEF, Child Protection Agency of Turkey and TOÇEV (Tuvana Foundation For Educating Children). She serves as the President of the High Advisory Board of TİKAD (Turkish Businesswomen Association), President of Executive Council of YÇD (Creative Children`s Association) and a member of WAAS (The World Academy of Art and Science). She is founder and Chairperson of Turkey's ONE Association. 

About İlber Ortaylı
İlber Ortaylı is a leading Turkish academician and historian. He held numerous academic positions in Turkey, Europe, US and Russia. From 2005 to 2012, Ortaylı served as the President of the Topkapı Palace Museum. He has published numerous articles on Ottoman and Russian history, with particular emphasis on cities and diplomatic, cultural and intellectual history. He is a recipient of the Aydın Doğan Foundation Award. Currently, he teaches at Galatasaray University and at Bilkent University; and serves as the Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Turkey’s ONE Association.
