Cigar Lounge – if you are “mature” or like for people to think that you are, take them to a real cigar lounge (hint: you can smoke cigarettes there too). With a posh décor, strong drinks, pretty good menu (kitchen open till 2:00am) and, of course, cigars you are sure to impress your out of town friends and high school buddies. Reserve for a group one of the semi-private areas or close the place for 30 – 80 people (open bar starts @ $30/hr; party menu @ $27.5 per person). Cigars are extra. Heated Outdoor Space – want an outdoor oasis without Meatpacking crowd and prices? This place is right under the Williamsburg bridge (“our” side), has three floors and will take private party reservations for a table or the whole floor. The rooftop has a nice view and a fountain (and is open year-round), the drinks are not too expensive and there is always great people watching. It is also loud, rowdy and just the way we like it!The Delancey Bar, 168 Delancey Street; 212-254-9920; http://www.thedelancey.com/

Sing your heart out – in some countries in Asia, ask for a private Karaoke Room and you might get more than you bargained for (hint: don’t bring your wife). NYC Korean town is strictly singing, but is still worth checking out: the decor is very Fifth Element; each room is decked out with a disco ball and you can ask for tambourines that light up at the desk. They have songbooks in five different languages, including Farsi and English, and disposable gauze mike covers are provided for sanitary purposes. Private Rooms accommodate up to 35 guests. $250 includes an evening in a private room, a bottle of hard liquor and ethnic Korean food that is so good as a vodka chaser. Chorus Karaoke, 25 W. 32nd St., (212) 967-2244; http://www.choruskaraoke.com/
