If you, like me and the other 1.2 billion people, have been religiously watching the 2006 World Cup of Soccer – getting up early on Saturdays, taking time off work, calling in sick, taking long lunches, or just sneaking out to the TV room – you have undoubtedly been cringing while listening to the ESPN commentators.  I know for a fact that I’m not the only person that have been grunting “shut the f*** up!” at least once every game.

I saw Flamenco for the first time during my vacation in Spain. The show was given at a small tablao Los Gallos located in the old Barrio Santa Cruz in beautiful Seville. I remember sitting in a third row of a small room filled with locals yelling “Olé” , mesmerized by the fierce energy of the performers, the depth of their emotion, and precision of their body movements.

Before the upcoming concert on Sunday, July 9th, RussianMix had this rare opportunity to take an interview with Alex after his recent return from Argentina. In the interview, he says that "Singing and dancing can also put you on stage, as it turns out." But we think a bit differently -- his concert is titled "Drinks and Dancing" after one of his songs, so we would paraphrase Alex and say that "Drinking and dancing can also put you on stage..." :).
