The Nutcracker-Royal Opera House Performance, The Montalbán Rooftop Movies

to discover the enchantment of ballet – and makes for a delicious seasonal treat for all the family. Tchaikovsky’s much-loved music is matched to a magical adventure on Christmas Eve for Clara and her Nutcracker doll.
Their journey to the Land of Sweets brings with it some of the most familiar of all ballet moments, such as the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Waltz of the Flowers.
Peter Wright’s production for The Royal Ballet keeps true to the spirit of this Russian ballet classic, with period details and dancing snowflakes. The many solo roles and ensembles put the world-class skills of the Company to the fore in this Christmas classic.

The Montalbán Rooftop MoviesOur view from The Montalbán rooftop is spectacular. We are at the center of one of the most famous destinations in the world. Join us atop our historic 1920’s theater The Montalbán Rooftop Movie Series. Our film selection is completely curated in-house and is the centerpiece for evening social dates starting at 6:00pm.
You may sit near (or be entertained by!) new filmmakers, actors, and celebrities who drop in with friends and loved ones. Indulge in tasty eats curated by our culinary partner: Umami Burger. We also offer an exceptional variety of craft beers, remarkable wine selections and mixed drinks that are trending on social media nightly. Our Ramos Sangria is becoming world famous. 
Swing by early to enjoy our food and beverage offerings and stake out the perfect seats. You can even play a game of Jenga and act out in our new selfie video/photo booth! Just after nightfall, the nightly presentation of iconic films begin. The concession stand is open for at least an hour into the screening, which boasts freshly popped popcorn. If you need to use the restrooms, you can still listen to the movie in your own headphone set. Unique hand-selected musical soundtracks play on the speakers and in the headphones until the movie begins.
Our stunning rooftop will celebrate 10 years of diverse arts & entertainment in 2019 (look for some big celebrations).

Please be advised that there is no ADA access for the rooftop screenings on our roof. 

Access to the rooftop screening space is via stairs ONLY, our historical theatre is a 100 years old and there is no elevator service.

There is no outside food or beverage allowed.

Come early to enjoy our bar and Umami burger service as early as 4 pm when doors open.
