High Holidays @ RAJE

RAJE is OUR spiritual home and it is supported by OUR donations – there is a long standing tradition followed by all Jewish communities throughout the world to help pay for the upkeep of houses of worship and Torah study by paying for seats at Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur services. This is not meant to commercialize our holidays; it’s not like buying a ticket to attend theater, but rather this is meant to be a donation which makes each Jew an equal partner in supporting our communal institutions. By selecting to make a donation for your holiday seat, even if you are not planning to attend services, you are fulfilling your responsibility as a dedicated member and partner in the RAJE Jewish community!

12:15 PM Yizkor Service - The Yizkor is a memorial prayer which one says for a loved one who passed away. In this prayer a pledge is made to charity to benefit the soul of the departed. Whenever charity is given or any Mitzvah is performed in the name of the departed their soul goes up to a better place in heaven. If you or a member of your family are not able to attend the Yizkor service, you can pledge charity before Yom Kippur and we will say the Yizkor prayer for your loved one!
