After being named a finalist in both the Prinses Christina Jazz Concours and Dutch Vocal Competitions, Engibaryan was announced as the winner of the 2015 Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition by jazz and soul singer Al Jarreau. In 2018, Engibaryan released We Are, the follow-up to her 2016 critically-acclaimed debut, Driving Down the Road.
