competitive CrossFit community where FIT is for ALL. The Out Foundation // OUTWOD is a recognized 501(c)3 organization that awards scholarships to LGBTQ+ young adults to fund a year-long gym membership.
We work closely with the scholarship recipients, providing weekly goal coaching, nutrition counseling, 3 months of healthy meals from Kettlebell Kitchen, apparel from RYU and BeastWorx and footwear from NoBull to set the athletes up for success.

9:00am -- Athlete check-in
9:30am -- Briefing and workout standards
10:00am -- Opening ceremonies
10:30am -- Heat 1 competition begins!
3:00pm -- Last heat ends
3:30pm -- After party celebration at Roscoe’s
WHY: To bring together the LGBTQ+ CrossFit Community and their allies for an afternoon of barbells, sweat, and competition – all for a great cause!
WHO: CrossFit athletes (18-years and older) will compete in teams of 4 in Rx or Scaled Divisions. Teams can be made up of 4 Men, 4 Women, or 2 Men & 2 Women. All athletes are welcome to participate in the division with which they identify. 

Rx Division (Possible) Movements | T2B, Pull-ups, Rope Climbs, Clean & Jerk (155/115), Wall Balls to 10ft target 20/14, Box Jump or Jump Overs 24/20, KB Russian Swing 70/55, Row, Double Unders, KB Sumo Deadlift High Pull 70/55, Deadlifts (225/155), Burpees, Keg or Sandbag Carries (80/60lbs), DB Clean & Press (55/35)

Scaled Division (Possible Movements) | Knee Raises, Jumping Pull-ups, Clean & Jerk 95/65, Wall Balls 14/10, Box Jump or Jump Overs 24/20, KB Russian Swing 55/35, Row, Double Unders, KB Sumo Deadlift High Pull 75/45, Burpees, Keg or Sandbag Carries (65/50lbs), DB Clean & Press (40/25)

COST: $100 + $300. We are changing the registration process a little this year. To register your team and order your uniforms each team will pay $100 via Eventbrite. Once you register each team will be given a fundraiser page to raise an additional $300 (hopefully more though) which is due 7 days before the competition. Charity proceeds will go to the OUTWOD Foundation & The Center on Halsted. Once you have registered, detailed instructions will be given to each team on how to raise the remaining $300+. Our goal with this format is to raise additional funds for our charity partners.
