About Adolf Shapiro:

Honored Artist of Latvia, Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, Laureate of the Moscow Award, Laureate of the Baltic House Theatre Festival Award, Laureate of the Stanislavski Award.

For more than half a century, Mr. Shapiro has staged highly acclaimed productions across three continents. His legendary Cherry Orchard is the longest running production of that play, receiving sold-out performances at the Moscow Art Theater for more then ten years.
