One of the most prominant artists in the Russian Hip-Hop scene. His contributions to the fairly new genre on the Post Soviet territory is unlike any other. Gufs domination of the Russian hiphop scene started in 2003 with a band called Centr. They took Russia by storm, conquering the hearts and ears of millions of listeners. After the band broke up, Guf started his solo career, and to this day is thought as one of the most influential and popular artists in the genre.
