Direct from Russia, the classic Great Russian Nutcracker will entertain the whole family this Christmas. Experience the exceptional dancing of a company of almost 40, a 60-foot growing Christmas tree, new and spectacular hand-made costumes by Resident Designer Arthur Oliver, and stunning sets hand-painted in Russia and designed by multi-Academy Award nominee Carl Sprague. Moscow Ballet consistently garners critical acclaim for performances in 100+ cities from New York to Los Angeles, and Miami to Calgary. The production is known for its dedication to world peace: naming Act II the “Land of Peace and Harmony;” featuring a rose shooting cannon, and a stunning 2-person “Dove of Peace” with a 20’ wingspan. About Kings Theater: upon its inception in 1929, the Loew’s Kings Theatre was one of the most exquisite theatres in the nation. Today, after the $95 million restoration of the original 1929 design, original plaster and painting schemes have been restored, vintage carpet and seating have been recreated and historic lighting fixtures have been renovated and re-installed. New state-of-the-art systems, including professional sound and lighting systems, expanded patron restrooms and concessions facilities will provide the very finest in patron comfort.

There is a large municipal parking lot located immediately behind the Kings Theatre, between Flatbush Avenue and Bedford Avenue, between Tilden and Beverley Rd. This lot is free and open to ticketholders on a first-come-first-served basis. Subway: B Train – Stop: Church Avenue; Q Train – Stop: Beverley Road.
