Russian Romani (Gypsy) dance is known for the magical movement of magnificent skirts, the passion and the darama of its movements.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of this dance. Also, we will explore how to incorporate these distinctive movements of body, face and skirt in your own dance, how to create your own magic.
We will explore different facets of dancing with your skirt - from the basics of tucking, picking up and dropping your skirt to moving through different moods - slow and quick, dramatic and sultry, happy and filled with longing.
