Dreams, Sarcasm, Cynicism

pleasure of inviting you to reopening this 18th May with the work of the Russian photographer Dmitry Zhitov, Faces and Voices of Cuba.
"Zhitov manages to capture through the lens the harsh revolutionary reality of Cuban society and narrates it from the generational levels that make it up, but vice versa, from old age to childhood, from decay to reconstruction, from boredom To enthusiasm, from discouragement to hope.
To achieve this, the artist photographs daily scenes and frames them, some with established symbologies of icons and slogans, others, contrasting textures to give us a sequential work of cynical, at the same time, encouraging.
Faces and Voices of Cuba is a photographic record of a society arrested and lost in time, hoping to reinsert itself in the modernity of the 21st century".
