Ty Stephens & (the) SoulJaazz

new Off-Broadway hit "On Kentucky Avenue" (Songbirds Unlimited Productions/StepForward Entertainment), appeared on Broadway in the original productions of "Sophisticated Ladies" (with Gregory Hines and Phyllis Hyman) and "Marilyn, An American Fable."
Among many recordings, he is Guest Vocalist, alongside Sax Legend Houston Person, on a jazz disc from bassist Jon Burr, "Just Can’t Wait". He has performed/appeared with: Harry Belafonte, Gregory Hines, Phyllis Hyman, Toshi Kubota, Patti Austin, Jeffrey Osborne, Phoebe Snow, Smokey Robinson, Jon Hendricks, and more; appears regularly in Russia as Guest Artist with Russian drummer Oleg Butman's jazz trio and sax great Igor Butman's Big Band; enjoyed 6 tours of Japan with superstar Toshi Kubota, and, with his own band, (the) SoulJaazz, spent 6 Seasons at the world-famous Sporting Club in Monte Carlo as the Sporting Orchestra, opening for some of the worlds biggest stars *(Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett, Alicia Keys, Steely Dan, Jill Scott, and more!!), and 4 tours of eastern Russia with his band, (the) SoulJaazz, with the US State Department, and, recently, a tour of Busan, Korea.
