Resistance and Hope: Fromm Players at Harvard

The 2018 Fromm Players Concert at Harvard (Saturday, March 31 at 7pm in Paine Hall, Free) features the work of Russian iconoclastic composer, Galina Ustvolskaya (1919-2006), who unswervingly developed a distinctive, penetratingly intense compositional voice, represented in this concert by her Duet for violin and piano (Stephen Drury, piano and Gabriela Diaz, violin) and the Boston premiere of Symphony No. 2, True and Eternal Bliss (Sound Icon, Jeffrey Means, conductor w/Ryne Cherry, baritone).
