Juneteenth 2018 - Unifying Cultures "The Brooklyn Melting Pot"

before its actual day. There will be vendors selling crafts and  food, activities for kids, games for parents and their children, a wonderful showcase, and great raffles prizes and Trivia are just a short list of activities that you will find throughout the day.
This year "2018" our Theme is Unifying Culture's.  The last couple of years we have been challenged with identifying and setting ourselves apart from others. This year we will be focusing on what makes us all the same, our vibrant and unique culture. All though we all celebrate our cultures differently on June 16 we will be presenting a united front and coming together to express our music, dance, food, art, speech, and other attributes that make up our cities uniqueness. NYC is a melting pot and we will be showcasing how over 50 nations live as one. We invite you to join us and wear a symbol that will help others identify your culture weather it is African, Asian, Japanese, Puerto Rican,  Trinidadian, Jamaican, Costa Rican, Russian, Peruvian,  and more, so bring your family and learn something new. Explore, enjoy and educate yourself on all that is CULTURE as One!Think about this, with all the hate and distrust that we encounter every day,  wouldn't it be great to see everyone together in harmony? Lets show America what really being great looks like.
