Like most bedroom DJs, Esteban built his home studio and tried his hand at producing. Wanting to refine his skills as a musician, he took a hiatus from DJ'ing to study piano formally.In 2004, Esteban was invited by Mad Mike of Detroit’s Underground Resistance to participate as a keyboardist in a new project that Banks was putting together called Galaxy 2 Galaxy, as well as the Los Hermanos live act. For the next five years the group would entertain masses at some of the world’s best clubs and festivals; Berghain, The Loft, Fabric, The Arches, Yellow, Montreux Jazz Festival, Monegros festival, Tea in the Park, Glade Festival, Metamorphose, and Astropolis to name a few.Esteban has steadily released material under his own name as well as a new moniker “Frequencia.” Frequencia is the darker side of his productions; getting away from the more soulful, jazz based material he has produced. It appeared on the “Xperience De Bass II” EP by Direct Beat, the same label through where he released his first single: “Prototype”, a kind of definition for his sound, a free sound that was made to be included on the open-minded DJ’s repertories, which were really free to do whatever they wanted. He also released several other productions, remixes and a couple of CDs through Direct Beat records, one of the most important labels of the electro scene.Essentially versatile in the music scene, DJ Di'jital built a real solid foundation as a world class DJ all these years. He first signed with international band AnTiZeRo in 2008 and is still with the collective and released on a compile with the group. He later went to release on Militant Science Records in 2010. As a child in the late 90s, he was influenced by early music of Aux88, Detrechno, Drexciya, Dopplereffekt and other Detroit Artist, hearing them on back then was known as 96.3FM.He began to learn to compose music in 2001, but heightened his focus in recent years, dedicating his time to find his own style within the blueprint of his influences. Humble and kind, his purpose, in his own right, is influencing methods of Escapism, in times of stress or hardships, to recoup ones sanity, all in the sound of Electro.Releasing his own first solo Vinyl, in 2018 "J Shaw: Destination Space", he looks to make a huge dent of impact in the scene and amongst his peers, with other projects coming in 2018 & 2019.
