World Doctors Orchestra and NIH Philharmonia Live in Concert

fellowship. As a continuation of that relationship, WDO and NIH Phil are excited to present "Summer Is Russian in" a concert to benefit the charities of the National Insitutes of Health.
The concert will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 7:30 PM at Church of the Epiphany, 1317 G Street, NW Washington, DC.  
Maestra Nancia D’Alimonte, Ph.D., will lead the orchestra in a performance of favorites including Rimsky-Korsakov's Russian Easter Overture, Smetana's The Moldau, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4.
The featured charities are: 

The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health, a residential “place like home” for sick children and their families while the children are receiving groundbreaking medical treatments at the NIH, the world’s leading biomedical research center; while the NIH takes care of the child’s medical needs, The Inn tends to the child’s heart, soul and spirit;  
Special Love, which lets kids be kids, through camps, financial assistance, and a community of support that lets them (and their families) know that they’re not alone in their battle; and
Friends of Patients at the NIH, which provides emergency financial assistance for patients participating in research protocols at the National Institutes of Health.
