He has churned out a steady stream of club concoctions over the past year, ranging from foggy Mobb Deep refixes to addictive La Materialista edits. Not to mention the film work he's put out. This Dominican force is one to be reckoned with.

THE GENT [NYC / FAMOUSINBUSHWICK] New York based DJ; Jimmy C. professionally known as The Gent has been a mainstay fixture in some of New York's hottest night clubs. He has been a guest DJ on Sway In The Morning and made an appearance playing DJ Kool Herc in the hit HBO show Vinyl. Artistically as a DJ, The Gent has built a solid reputation as a hip-hop turntablist backing artist CharlieRED and working with hip-hop group We.Are.Not.For.Them(WANFT) on the independent Brooklyn based label Reservoir Sound.
