The Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship Program is an international initiative that each year offers accomplished young Americans the opportunity to gain intercultural and practical experience in Germany. Fellows complete placements at leading institutions, attend seminars, and receive intensive language training. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend, travel insurance, program-related travel costs, and language training in Berlin and prior to departure as needed. The application deadline is November 1. Since 2004, the Alfa Fellowship Program has provided over 170 emerging leaders from the U.S., U.K., and Germany with the opportunity to gain professional experience in business, media, law, policy, and related areas through an 11-month, fully-funded fellowship in Moscow. The program includes language training, seminars and lectures, regional trips, and extended professional experience. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, program related-travel costs, language training, accommodation, and travel insurance. Russian language proficiency is preferred but not required.
