Weekly Tuesday Evening Mindfulness Meditation On Russian Hill

The evening consists of a 35/40 minute sitting, talk and discussion. The Tuesday evening meditation is offered on a dana/donation basis. We are supported by the practice of shared generosity. The Mindfulness Care Center is a 501(3)(c) charitable organization and recognized by San Francisco Magazine being Voted The Best Of 2018 in "Mindfulness and Meditation."  
The meditation evening is led by Rik Center Cofounder of the MCC/Mindfulness Care Center. Rik is a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, SEP/Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner, plus he has served as a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain at San Francisco General and CPMC Hospitals. He facilitates and leads a variety of mindfulness classes based around embodied practices of healing stress, unresolved anxieties, grief and loss. Rik has a private practice working one-on-one with his clients that focuses on healing high levels of unresolved traumatic anxiety and PTSD along with offering grief and spiritual counseling. Rik began his meditation practice in the late 80's and has been a community member of Spirit Rock Meditation Center. He's presently connected to Abhayagiri a “Theravada Thai Forest Monastery” in Redwood Valley practicing in the Ajahn Chah Lineage with his spiritual friends and teacher Ajahn Pasanno.
