Exhibition Reception

The evening includes opening remarks by museum director Thomas Sokolowski, followed by a conversation between Nakhova and Professor Jane Sharp, who co-curated the exhibition, about the role art played in Soviet society during the last decades of the 20th century and how the artist’s own practices evolved to shape those experiences for her viewers.
