Weekly Tuesday Evening Mindfulness Meditation On Russian Hill: 7:00PM

Location: 2041 Larkin Street at Vallejo on Russian Hill, facilitated through the Mindfulness Care Center.The Mindfulness Care Center was recognized by San Francisco Magazine being Voted The Best Of 2018 in "Mindfulness and Meditation" and is a 501(3)(c) charitable organization.
We utilize a mindfulness vipassana practice of “insight awareness” meditation which offers us the opportunity to slow down and look within.
The evening consists of a 35/40 minute sitting, talk and discussion. The Tuesday evening meditation is offered on a dana/donation basis. We are supported by the practice of shared generosity.
Facilitated by Rik Center Cofounder of the MCC/Mindfulness Care Center. Rik is a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, SEP - Somatic Experiencing Stress and Trauma Counselor/Practitioner and has served as a Buddhist/Interfaith Chaplain at San Francisco General and CPMC Hospitals. He facilitates and leads a variety of mindfulness classes based around embodied practices of healing stress, unresolved anxieties, grief and loss. Rik has a private practice working one-on-one with his clients that focuses on healing high levels of unresolved traumatic anxiety and PTSD along with offering grief and spiritual counseling. Rik began his meditation practice in the late 80's. He has been a community member of Spirit Rock Meditation Center and is presently connected to Abhayagiri a “Theravada Thai Forest Buddhist Monastery” in Redwood Valley practicing in the Ajahn Chah Lineage with his spiritual friends and teacher Ajahn Pasanno.
