In a film the history of uneasy destiny of the former employee of the Soviet customs is discussed, who was sent in the eighties by special services in "compelled" emigration. And, because of the state changes in Russia 90th, he was forgotten. Our hero independently tries to get out of a labyrinth of the most complicated problems, without expecting that to it can support both Russian, and the American structures on against the international drug mafia. In a film association with Bunin's story «Gentelman from San Francisco» are traced, heroes are depicted as the Bunin's characters.
