The concert presents Vlada's new album INNERMOSTwith Vlada Brofman (vocals, guitar), Alexander Alabin (keys, guitar), and Andrey Matlin Matlin (bass, flute, keys). We'll perform songs to the lyrics of great Russian poets and world music hits (French chanson, bossa nova, originals). The arrangements on the CD are more varied and rich, but live music wins hearts and slowly but surely effects change in the world. Performing as a trio, we bring with us the breath of Russian Silver Age poetry, the smell of chestnuts and Parisian cafes and well-known singer-songwriter songs in unusual arrangements. We perform each song as a mini-play, a small drama for the initiates - and we look for the most stylistically appropriate arrangement and style for this play.
