Russian New Years Eve Old style

Why? Because after the Russian Revolution in 1917 Russian calendar was adjusted to the world's calendar, it means that the time was moved for 14 days. This is why, since 1917 we celebrate New Years also on January 14th and we call it "New Years Eve in old style".
In Washington DC there is a famous Russian Restaurant "Marivanna". For sure, many of you know this place already and some of you has been there at least once.
On January 14. 2018 two famous Russian artists - a soprano Victoria Sukhareva and accordion player Artem Starchenko - will sing and play popular songs in their program at this restaurant. It will start at 6 pm. Join us for this special event in cold winter and have hot Russian New Years Eve in Old style.
